The State of Connecticut maintains a current list of farmers' markets.  You may also zero in on farms where you may pick your own fruits and pumpkins.  There are plenty of apple orchards, as well, many offering pick-your-own.  There is a substantial Wine Trail. You might also consider the state's tourism sites for the New Haven and Waterbury districts.
