Lenox -- Frelinghuysen Morris House and Studio - The home of American abstract artists George L.K. Morris and Suzy Frelinghuysen. 

Lenox -- Museum of the Gilded Age at Ventfort Hall - Housed in the restored Elizabethan Revival castle built in 1893 for the sister of J.P. Morgan. 

Monterey -- Bidwell House Museum - Georgian saltbox originally built circa 1750 as a parsonage. Early 19th century furniture, quilts, needlework, silver.

Pittsfield -- Arrowhead - Home of Herman Melville from 1850-1862, it is owned and operated by the Berkshire County Historical Society.

Pittsfield -- Berkshire Museum - Community-based museum emphasizing art, natural sciences and history. 

Pittsfield -- Hancock Shaker Village - Historic site and living history museum.

Sheffield -- Colonel John Ashley House - Home built in 1735 in which, according to tradition, the Sheffield Declaration of 1773 was drafted.

Stockbridge -- Chesterwood Estate and Museum - Former home and studio of sculptor Daniel Chester French, now a museum.
